Why would someone like the snivelling irk Hunt (who looks like Kenneth Williams, without the humour or talent) take a 100k MP job when his net worth is £14 Million or thereabouts?

While you're at it, it maybe a good idea to have some physical cash in the House. I've got a feeling you're going to need it when it all goes down the toilet by the end of the week.
I've had a little think about it and come up with two possible reasons:
Delete1) £100k is a very good salary; and
2) he could have a commitment to the idea of public service.
Hunt's smirk reminds me of the little HMRC weirdoes who enjoy bullying people.

ReplyDeleteDo they have insurance to pay for the replacements or is Joe Public coughing up? Maybe someone can do a FOI request and find out.
I think they need a trip to a PAC in the near future.
