  1. ...and then the next priority is addressing the ongoing subject of data security. I see that the government will spend 155 million pounds on improving data security at HMRC following on from the 'entirely avoidable' Datagate fiasco. £155m is one mighty pricetag indeed. Make no mistake, this is serious money and the pricetag is obviously reflective of just how bad the mess is at HMRC... it really is a "Brown administration" in so very many ways!!!

  2. It is indeed a hefty price. However, with staff morale at absoulte rock bottom, it is likely that there will soon be no officers left for the Data Secuity Commissars to monitor.
