  1. A few years back Capita (and Atos) were doing stuff like occupational health advice. To be fair, they had a reasonably good system in place. 24 hour referrals and reports back to HMRC within 24 hours.

    The problem was with HMRC management failing to refer in a timely manner, failing to read OH reports, failing to ask relevant follow-up questions, failing to implement the advice especially around reasonable adjustments...

    Ironic really, when much of the political debate re outsourcing is about whether it should be brought back in house, it was the public sector HMRC which entirely failed...(surprise, surprise)

    1. Echo the above comment, if the SHTF ever happens, its all documented and held either within e.mails or hard copy documents.
      Comparison of all evidence/facts to resolving disputes/grievance paperwork will screw them completely, and deservedly so!

  3. Chasing too many contracts was Capitas problem, mirrored Carillion, have Capita bosses been giving themselves big bonuses, is their pension pot defecit gaping, yes HMRC are shite, but these firms are just as deplorable.
