Mel Stride Washes His Hands of HMRC

As I have noted many times over the years, this conflict of interest and lack of accountability will only be resolved if there is a cabinet post created specifically for HMRC.

Tax does have to be taxing.

Professional Cover Against the Threat of Costly TAX and VAT Investigations

Insurance to protect you against the cost of enquiry or dispute with HMRC is available from several sources including Solar Tax Investigation Insurance.

Ken Frost has negotiated a 10% discount on any polices that may suit your needs.

However, neither Ken Frost nor HMRCISSHITE either endorses or recommends their services.

What is Solar Tax Investigation Insurance?

Solar Tax Investigation Insurance is a tax-fee protection service that will pay up to £75,000 towards your accountant's fees in the event of an HM Revenue & Customs full enquiry or dispute.

  2. Another tribunal case, painting another grim picture of HRMC. Not that anyone gives a toss, zero accountability. It's not that some snot nosed burger flipping fast tracker has to pick up the legal fees. It's all gravy to them. Paid up jolly and a day out with Travel and Subsistance. IR35 legislation: what a pile of horseshit that is. I quote "failure to understand its own labyrinth self employment laws". How quaint.
