My compliments to the taxpayer who recently advised of his bold attempt to raise a formal complaint with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) over the HMRC tag line:"Tax doesn't have to be taxing."
He argued that it was misleading.
Regrettably ASA rejected his complaint.
Tax does have to be taxing.
