WatchdogThe BBC have posted a summary of last night's Watchdog programme about HMRC on their website here.

For reasons that are beyond my limited technical ability, I am unable to see the video clip of the programme on the site.

    Useless, opportunity wasted.
Get onto the next blog asap.
Excom and above must have been rolling in the aisles. It must for them literally hsve been like being savaged by a dead sheep.

  2. Put some more coals on the fire Ken there is a need to regenerate a head of steam.
Try looking at the "ventilation" process and how many of the useless muppets will be fleeing with a "package" shortly.
    "I'm all right Jack!"
Privatise the tax service now and be done with it!

  3. Year on year the HMRC get my self-assessment wrong... when bollocked repeatedly by the PM's office(yes it goes back to Mr Major's days) they still get their OBE's, annual bonuses and annual rises. East Kilmarmock appears to be the worst I have come across and there are plenty bad ones out there.

  4. recieved a tax refund. 2 days later was told over the phone i had failed security. now I know my name, date of birth and national insurance number. leaving only my address to be what i 'failed' on. funny how I recieve correspondance via this address though isnt it. due to this I now have to wait for a new password to be sent, meaning I will be late for my tax return, for which I will be fined. utter bulls**t. useless organisation
