It seems that Labour is instructing local parties to "minimise" tax when buying and selling properties, which is kind of ironic given that Labour has previously claimed that “no measures” have been taken “to reduce our tax liability.”
Labour’s Property Handbook, distributed to local parties, is quoted by the Telegraph:
"It is therefore essential that professional advice about all property transactions is sought early...so as to optimise the use of tax exemptions and relief."Good to know that a party that has whinged so much about tax avoidance (just as the Tories and Liberals have done too), not only proactively seeks to reduce its tax liability but recommends that the advice of tax professionals is sought.
Politicians are hypocrites!
