Tax Post Brexit

I take it that during the post brexit period of confusion, chaos and political meltdown we all get a tax holiday?😏

Tax does have to be taxing.

  1. One source of funding that *could* be removed from Gideons grasp are the debts collected by other countries, on HMG`s behalf, by use of the M(utual) A(ssistance) of R(ecovery) of D(ebt) MARD scheme which is run by the remaining 27 countries in the EU.
What MARD means is that HMRC trace debtors to one of the 27 countries and threaten them with enforcement action by their host country if they dont pay.
(HMRC also collect on behalf of other countries).

  2. HMRC are always in chaos in any event and can only be relied upon to get it all wrong. With the uncertainty and potential tax law changes to come as a result of Brexit, I would expect the unprofessional HMRC to be confused for a great many years and struggling to keep up with the changes. Is Jon Thompson the CEO a tax expert?
