Hotseat

Morale
My thanks to a loyal reader who forwarded me an extract of a recent "hotseat" interaction posted on the HMRC intranet.

It seems that HMRC offices that produce poor staff survey results in the future may be closed!

  6. seeing as HMRC came well and truely bottom of the staff survey league, and with no signs of any improvement (far from it) I guess they will have to close the whole bloody lot down. Last one out lock the door and switch off the lights.

  8. Poor results = closure
WTF are Hartnets and Straithies doors still open for then?
Of course inherited Stalinist principles from Gordon Browns' tenure will be carried forward to blame everyone else save themselves.
True Civil Servants pre the days of fairly recent politically influenced civil servants would never have stooped so low and even have accepted the consequences by now, having been brung up proper.
But the current SCS are nowt but a bunch of lickspittles (ye olde English). I would say there is more chance of finding the moon is made of green cheese than of finding an acceptance of responsibility by the muppets in charge of the glorious 103rd brigade.
Non illegitimine carborundum for the workers.
In parentis locomotis for the rest of the world to know.

  10. Just how can a supposed world class (some hope) government organisation get so bad, is there no recognition in the cabinet about this embarrasing state of affairs.
The lower management caste must share some of the responsibility for the mess for being so scared of telling it as it is. Chickenshits the lot of you!
