  1. Oh dear, oh deary me!

Failure to communicate and engage clearly with the customer base, whatever next? Perhaps there is a lean solution to be found that has a twangy phrase associated with it.

Perhaps the robotics will provide a solution as it obviously does not compute, currently.

Does the survey mean that 3/4 have heard of MTD or simply that 3/4 did not state they had not heard of MTD. Statistics are as important and accurate as modern opinion polls you know.

At least the weekend approaches, note to Excom - must do better!

  2. Ken & others (inc. Excom!),

Suggest perusal of an article in Private Eye that echoes contentions previously made on here about post Brexit issues for HMRC/HMG.
    Eye No.1466 23 March - 5 April, P.37 "Smugglers' Charter"

Observant readers will recall previoius highlighting of problems looming regarding how unprepared the UK is for post-Brexit tax issues.

Now it seems even the EU Commission is beginning to make a noise about things. Typical issues referred to include misdescription, undervaluation, organised crime groups, exp;oitation of weak physical and other 'controls'.
Despite this, the Chancellor has just announced further cuts to the HMRC budget.
@It looks like good times are just around the corner for the 21st Centuries smugglers.

Credit to Eye and reporter. (which see)
