Accountancy Age's Financial Power List 2013: Big Hitters

You may be amused to learn that I have been placed 25th on Accountancy Age's Financial Power List 2013: Big Hitters, a rundown of who the magazine thinks will be the biggest players in accounting and finance during 2013.

Lin Homer is 1st and David Gauke 32nd.

25 Ken Frost, serial blogger and HMRC agitator
A long-time thorn in the side of the ICAEW in his blogging capacity, Frost has found that HMRC's travails have taken up a bigger chunk of his social media efforts. Not that the institute is out of his line of vision, but his probing questions and good contact base make an amusing and revealing read.

Tax does have to be taxing.

Professional Cover Against the Threat of Costly TAX and VAT Investigations

Insurance to protect you against the cost of enquiry or dispute with HMRC is available from several sources including Solar Tax Investigation Insurance.

Ken Frost has negotiated a 10% discount on any polices that may suit your needs.

However, neither Ken Frost nor HMRCISSHITE either endorses or recommends their services.

What is Solar Tax Investigation Insurance?

Solar Tax Investigation Insurance is a tax-fee protection service that will pay up to £75,000 towards your accountant's fees in the event of an HM Revenue & Customs full enquiry or dispute.

  1. Have ICAEW been talking about the same Homer let alone the same HMRC?

Is ICAEW another organisation infiltrated by Common Purpose?

They must be living on a different planet placing Homer at #1.

Never mind, I fully expect Margaret Hodge to ensure Homer & Co continue to head towards their just deserts this year.

Well done to Ken, 2013 will be even more rewarding...

    1. Thanks:)

The list though is compiled by Accountancy Age, which is not affiliated to the ICAEW.

  2. My mistake!

Is Accountancy Age infiltrated by the same "mob" then?
