  1. HMRC try to scare people from totally legal tax planning while simultaneously being completely ineffective at collecting the revenue which is actually due. YCNMTSU

  5. Talking about joining the dots elsewhere?

Over 30 yrs ago the same scouse comedian whose case really took the urine when an £800k fraud case against him by the taxman (IR) spanning 15 yrs and lasting a year fell apart when he was aquitted?!

The head investigator was a Dave Hartnett (same as) and the prosecutor was one Brian Leveson (yes, that one).

Anyone researching the case will wonder in disbelief how the scouse comedian was aquitted.

RIP Sir Ken, you certainly had the judge tickled!

  7. One was a mop haired joker who talked gibberish in front of an audience. The other sang a song about Happiness. Quite the double act, pity they never got to do a summer season in Blackpool.

"By jove missus, what a beautiful day it is to ask the taxman what's the current IHT rate is on a fluffy hat and a tickling stick"

The last genius this country produced in my opinion...
