  1. little research around the rules under the new EU GDPR rules which came into effect 25th May 2018 could be volatile;
    "It expands the rights of individuals to control how their personal data is collected and processed, and places a range of new obligations on organisations to be more accountable for data protection."
    "UK organisations handling personal data will still need to comply with the GDPR, regardless of Brexit. The GDPR will come into force before the UK leaves the EU, and the government has confirmed that the Regulation will apply, a position that has been stated by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)."

    1. Sorry folks missed the header off;

      Never mind the additional £5Bn tax, what about the 5.1m voiceprint recordings allegedly illegally made and held and made available to 3rd parties?

  2. Five Billion! Don't you just love round numbers.

    The ye olde Evasion / Avoidance chestnut. Chirp the same soundbites, never fails to amuse.

    I know! In a flash of inspiration why don't you shut a load of offices! Just the ticket. You can dog pile literally decades of experience at the same time that might help in bringing in the coin.

  3. Is it true HMRC have no local offices anymore? If so, how does that help with revenue protection?

    Is it also true that HMRC have inexperienced, unintelligent compliance staff, with poor communication skills and zero life experience, who conduct desk based audits from large offices hundreds of miles away from the pesky 'customers' - how does that help with revenue protection?
