  1. So the emphasis is put back onto the contractor to determine his/her employment status. As if HMRC have the time or resources to investigate every contractor. Totally unenforceable piece of legislation.

  2. I wouldn't be surprised if the next one in the job decides to have a 'review' and reform it back again.

  3. In the mid-80s, the Revenue published a list of tests to use to determine if a person was self-employed. Where is it now? The same criteria would apply.

  4. Even I didn't think this idiot would make a mess of things so quickly. At this rate, we'll be photocopying £10 notes to buy a box of Corn Flakes. If he doesn't know what a P45 is, he's about to find out before the end of next week.

  5. So the new department the government are creating is the Ministry Of Muppetry and both Kwateng and Truss are vying for the top job.

  6. This Chancellor and his boss are a couple of low IQ loons.

They've frozen personal allowances for the true wealth creators - employees and the self-employed - and are readying to demonise welfare 'scroungers' all over again, while at the same time facilitating tax avoidance and evasion for their super rich mates.

    Scum of the earth.

I wonder why? Answers on a Postcard. I love the BBC...

Rumor has it the over promoted plank responsible for the economic debacle will be gone by this afternoon. His boss won't be far behind.
