    1. Very well according to the below comment. It's because they're psychopaths.

    1. Serious answer, they don't.
It's just that a proportion of those that do end up posting repeatedly on here.

    2. Don't expect a coherent answer. He left after multiple allegations, including the one about him being on sauce at the HMRC office where he 'worked'.

Sensible answer - the HMRC work environment, including the bullying culture, is not conducive to good health, physical, emotional or mental. It's really that simple.

    3. Ha I know exactly who you mean, the code name for the allegations was 'Special K'

    4. Yeah but the drinking was not the worst of it. His colleagues were appalled by his abhorrent, filthy behaviour .

    8. Wow, this guy appears to be a real wrong 'un.
As so many posters on here know all about him you'll be able to tell us where he worked, office, grade, etc.
Otherwise a commie cynic might think you're just making it all up.
      Perish the thought.

    9. 14th October @11.55.
Not confused at all, my dear old thing.
A large number (many) of HMRC staff "don't" end up mentally ill.
Of the tiny proportion of those that "do" end up mentally ill, some post on here, thereby distorting people's perception of the department.
All quite simple if you read the post and concentrate.

    10. I love reading the comments where HMRC workers squabble over issues pertaining to their little jobs (present or past). It's delightful. Keep it coming, more please...pathetic 🤣

    11. Sadly the majority of people in this world do have "little jobs". Indeed, society wouldn't be able to function properly without them.
You must realise, surely, that we can't all be wonderful Masters of the Universe like yourself.

    12. Some of us took pride in our little jobs. Doing our little bit to help our country and our fellow citizens. But too many of us were bullied out of HMRC by out of control, crazed, power-desperate managers.

Those that support their behaviour are essentially supporting HMRC corruption. Do know this - if they're corruptly treating their own staff, they could be corruptly handling your tax affairs next.

    13. The generally accepted definition of 'corrupt' is to dishonesty gain an advantage, usually for money or personal gain.
Can you give examples of how your former managers would be gaining personally from handling our readers tax affairs?
Or are you just howling at the moon as usual?

    14. My mental health is in a very bad place due to work bullying at HMRC.
Where can I get help about my rights?

      Delete
    15. If your workplace 'bullying' meets the criteria for harassment then a criminal offence has been committed against you and you can report the matter to the police.
Please let us all know how you get on.

    16. Do speak to a solicitor and your doctor. Make sure you document everything that's been going on. It sounds like you have a potential employment tribunal or personal injury county court case. As above, if any criminal offences have been committed by HMRC colleagues, report the matter to the authorities.
