Wakey Wakey!

My thanks to a loyal reader who posted the following comment, which speaks for itself:
""All gone quiet over there..."

What has happened to the apparent 'fizz' created when the news seeped out?

Also, as previously intimated, has Homer crossed equal opportunity guidance with using a house of God for the backslapping attaboy event to the exclusion of other faiths and minority groups of workers?

The irony of the situation is bordering on farcical given the continuing poor performance and lack of engagement by HMRC, but the sheeple are unsighted as per norm

Tax does have to be taxing.

  1. The only people left in HMRC to comment are the ones who like it and agree with how it works and the very few who stay because they can't afford to leave or are waiting for the redundancy, so there will be little comments now from people still in the place only the ones of us who have got out.

  2. Don't agree, an awful lot left in there afraid to do anything and bullied into toeing the party line or be treated accordingly.
The decent managers, and there were some from both constituent parts, have taken the early retirement carrots that they were awarded compared to the later crap "offers" that were available.
What's left is the absolute shite that is Excom, a load of useless prats down to B6 and a host of AO and AA workers struggling at the bottom of the dung heap.
Westminster might yet turn out to be a swansong, we can live in hope.

  3. Probably praying at Westminster Abbey that Revenue Scotland the new tax agency being set up by the Scottish government does not run off with too much of HMRC's business post September 18.
