  1. Great. Now which dipshit is going to head HMRC? Another idiot no doubt.

    1. Yes, it would be great to be able to believe somebody half decent/competent will be appointed to replace the idiot Homer, but given the Conservatives contempt and dislike of the public sector they'll probably just appoint another management speak quarter wit.

  2. I liken her leaving to someone who walks into a crowded room, lets go of a big smelly fart and then quickly leaves the room shutting the door behind them.

Good riddance but what a joke making this woman a dame.A big reward for doing a shite job.She was always going to leave after such an award.........how could she ever justify accepting this reward to the thousands of hard working HMRC employees after her disasterous tenure as CEO?

  3. FUCK HER !!!!
Jumped before she was pushed....Another "saviour" will be appointed....who will fail miserably...then get honoured....and the whole circus will start again !!

    2. Very Unlikley - if it was available for comments it would bring down the shite Intranet!

  5. Chancellor George Osborne said Ms Homer had put foundations in place to make HMRC one of the most digitally-advanced tax authorities in the world.
"It is to Lin's great credit that the National Audit Office last year judged HMRC to be one of the strongest departments in government - a legacy of which she can be rightly proud," Mr Osborne said.

    Incredible !!!!!

  8. 'After 10 years as a chief executive and permanent secretary in the civil service, the start of the next spending review period seemed to be a sensible time to move on." the woman is shameless!! Everyone on the shit heap with her on the top.

  9. Without doubt the least impressive head of a Civil Service department witnessed in my 21 years of public service. The decision to curtail HMRC staff from commenting on the forthcoming departure typifies just what a divisive character she was. Good riddance. HMRC has become horribly politicised under Homer's tenure. The CEO position is a poisoned chalice that requires a person with no soul. I hear Sepp Blatter is looking for a job.

    1. Overjoyed shes gone, outraged shes built up a £2m+ pension pot when other civil servants will have theirs diminished, dismayed that she says she wants another job after some down time, the bitch will no doubt be a consulatant to one of the big accounting firms taking her insider knowledge with her. A fucker of the first order.

    2. Agreed.

Despite strong competition Homer has romped home lengths ahead of her nearest rivals as the most spectacularly useless person ever to head a Civil Service department.

Sheer class in all the wrong ways.

  10. Apparently the job at Environment is available......

  11. ding song the witch has gone..... another department tucked over by the dame...... another high ranking civil servant retires early whilst the rest of us are told to work longer for less.......

  12. The community forums at HMRC (which was really the only way staff could comment on things that they were angry about) were pulled for good on the same day she got her Damehood. They've been replaced by Google+ and everything has to start again from scratch. Seeing as it would easier to perform a brain transplant than set up a community on Google, there won't be any way of commenting on her receiving the honour or on her leaving. They're just rubbing our noses in it now.

  13. I have been in the department for nearly 30 years, 10 of those at a management level. Despite that, my take home pay last year was lower than Homer's bonus. And they wonder why staff aren't 'engaged'. Good riddance to her, and I hope the rest of Excom go soon too.

  14. The sheeple might work it out for themselves but, in the process, must join the dots to find the answer.

You seem to have all the answers...but care to share none of them.

      Clues;
Brown, amalgamation, reduction in efficiency, ability and professionalism, culture demolition, Ken Dodds' 'hairnet', 2 discs, Blondie hit re. communications, Toyota...
makes one think there is a 'common purpose'
anyway, that's enough shepherding for now, do some of the work yourself!

Brilliant insight, for those with eyes open!

There are none so blind as those that will not see.

The article you provide the link for is dated 6th January 2016 and well timed, not seen it before 15 mins ago, its spot on. It should be force fed to all managers in HMRC, and the Excom twats should be forced to learn it by rote.

    6. We can strike for a month and it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference...EXCOM would massage the figures...and the reality is that they have slowly driven the "no" voices out with their own "yes" disciples....i find corporate communication exceptionally vile scum !!

  17. No enhancement of pension for early retirement on health grounds but inclusion in the honours list! Looks as if Homer was given a little inducement to leave HMRC in the hope that another idiot will take over and take the blame when it grinds to a halt.

  18. Gone before getting sacked. Incompentant cunt. Good riddance. Left a trail of destruction wherever she has been. Having a break as nobody wants to employ her.
Trouble is who will take over as they are all as bad as each other- a bunch of cameron cocksuckers.
