  1. Updates expected? Yeah, I bet they are. I believe the No Deal plan is called Operation Yellowhammer. Yellow being a very astute colour choice as everyone is getting pi**ed on from a great height.

Perhaps the 'more detail' involves turning the M25 into a giant lorry park, together with the main motorway into Dover docks. 'More detail' could involve better policing as the angry truckers and booze cruise day trippers start having punch ups en masse. You would be able to see it from space, like the Great Wall of China. Spelling a big letter 'Q'.

Although it pains me to say it, Jonny the Pig does have some grasp, as he did think he would need about 5000 staff. How many have they got shut of lately? Now they are going to start dragging them off the street with hollow promises and a non contributory pension? If they all started Monday morning, a bit of computer training and a few multiple choice questions later - does this mean they know what they are doing? No, I don't think so either. Never mind, they still have a full six months before it turns to shite.

I wouldn't bank on our esteemed leader getting a grip of things. After spending the summer dancing in Africa like a crack whore who has found a cheap bottle of vodka behind the sofa. The other Bullingdon Club gobshite has been Bin Bagged and is a little preoccupied.

Nothing to see here, move along.

  2. HMRC "human resources" are now trawling through Linkedin to find anyone with "customs" on their CV. I wonder just how many experiencd customs staff have had their future built by being kicked out in favour of people off the streets at the regional centre locations who can be indoctrinated and given a set of sops and swis to follow blindly.

  3. Any idea how many CHIEF replacement CDS entries have been actually processed? Thommo's told the PAC that phase 3 is delayed until March. Can't think what else is happening that month.....

  4. Apologies for being off topic - on World Suicide Day can HMRC committ to considering the brutal way they treat some staff and taxpayers.

There are some brutal, scum of the earth types, who have been running riot inside HMRC and whose behaviour has harmed others. And they've been getting away with it. Can HMRC commit to dealing with these HMRC 'people' through disciplinary action and, where appropriate, criminal prosecution.

    1. HMRC do not care less about the mental wellbeing of staff or taxpayers, so World Suicide Prevention Day was of no interest to the monsters. They care only about the careers of the useless senior management types. End of.

  5. HMRC will pay lip service to World Suicide Prevention Day and then carry on regardless. Hypocritical, sanctimonious, cowardly scumbags. Nobody is fooled by their act anymore!!!

  6. HMRC smashes it in Alicante. Do you think they splashed their meal allowance on Sangria? Nice cushy number, bit of a 'presentation', then smash a few beers by the pool. Hope they threw their towel lounger before the Germans at Hotel Solana.
