  1. This man should be investigated by HMRC's Internal Governance people.

My MP sent a letter to Mr Thompson in regard to issues of bullying, law-breaking, failure to comply with procedure, failure to investigate complaints etc and Mr Thompson's reply was dismissive, fundamentally dishonest and misleading. How dare he claim to champion mental health - he will be judged on his behaviour and that amounts, at the very least, to a breach of the Civil Service code. WAKE UP INTERNAL GOVERANCE - THE WRONG 'UNS IN HMRC MUST BE LAUGHING AT YOU!!!

    1. I agree. HMRC's ongoing attitude to Mental Health is appalling, yet they'll continue to say they're 'championing' Mental Health on their internal websites.
They need to be bought to task, but unfortunately that'll be too late for many.

    2. It's another deceit from the corrupt HMRC for them to claim they champion mental health while simultaneously enabling a culture of bullying and submitting false evidence to court (a major criminal offence!) in an attempt to deny justice to brave HMRC staff who have been forced to instigate proceedings against the department.
Speaking from personal experience, the trauma of taking HMRC to court, after already having been bullied and criminally harassed by management, causes untold physical and mental stress. That said, I would encourage others in a similar position to do the same to keep the pressure on them, until the day some of these cowardly brutes are held individually liable for their misbehaviour which may herald a cleaning up of misconduct throughout HMRC.
HMRC staff being left suicidal is a major scandal which is not being addressed.
They've broken the law and there should be no place for the spineless senior management to hide.

    1. This dishonest little man should not be given a knighthood.

If he will lie to a former member of staff's MP then he will lie to anyone.

His terrible attitude to the casual psychological torture and violence towards HMRC staff, not to mention their failings to taxpayers, has continued to build on Homer's record of dragging HMRC into the gutter.

HMRC deliver one shit show after another. Time for those dishing out gongs to deliver a very firm NO when it comes to HMRC senior management.
